Turkey Chili

Turkey Chili

Ingredients

1 lb 93/7 lean ground turkey
1 small onion (diced)
1 can diced tomatoes
1 small can green chilis
1 small can tomato sauce
1 can black beans (drained)
3 cups fresh chopped spinach
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp cayenne pepper
salt/pepper to taste

Instructions


Brown meat with onion. Add salt/pepper.
Once meat is browned, add in all other ingredients.
Simmer for approximately 15 minutes.

Special Notes


I like mine more on the spicy side. I've also used Rotel for some added kick and extra veggies.
And the spinach adds fiber and gives the chili color.
